In a season full of exciting plays, broken records, and key wins, we picked the five best ones to recap as the fall sports season comes to a close. Cross country, golf, and tennis were highlighted for new school records and exciting wins, while volleyball and football continued their trends of excellence this season.

USD Athletics went on a winning streak this weekend, with men’s soccer finding their first conference win of the season and the golf team winning their first tournament of the season. Swim & dive beat LMU in the pool, and football continued a five-game winning streak against Valparaiso.

It was Homecoming Week from Oct. 11 through Oct. 17, and the University of San Diego’s sports teams celebrated the occasion appropriately. Golf, volleyball, and cross country all competed outside of San Diego, but brought the USD passion to their competitions.
