When USD Theatre professor Jacob Bruce first graduated from acting school, acting in movies and television was the last thing on his plan. Instead, working for the Midwestern theater circles in Chicago, St. Louis, Milwaukee and Indianapolis was the next move for him.

Miller has devoted her career to uncovering and sharing the undermined, lived experiences and history of African Americans in the US. Karma Lekshe Tsomo, a Buddhist nun who teaches at the University of San Diego in the theology department, has life endeavors stretching far beyond the classroom. Her Buddhist path has taken her around the world, where she has studied the history and teachings of Buddhism and become an advocate for female advancement.

Pearlberg sent an email to all of his students detailing that his time at the University of San Diego had ended. The University of San Diego said he voluntarily resigned from his position, but Pearlberg claimed otherwise.
