The San Diego Press Club released their list of winners for their 48th annual Excellence in Journalism Awards and the University of San Diego’s very own student media placed across the board. The awards are determined and judged by working professionals in the real world of print and broadcasting.

In order to decide the winners, members of 15 journalism professional organizations from around the country came together from places such as San Francisco and New York.

Many students in USD’s student media won Excellence in Journalism Awards at this year’s event.
