The University of San Diego Toreros came into the matchup last Thursday against the University of San Francisco Dons (USF) losing six of their last seven games and have yet to defeat a West Coast Conference (WCC) opponent at home. San Francisco came into the game winning four of their last five games.

The Jenny Craig Pavilion was packed Wednesday, Nov. 20 as the University of San Diego Toreros were looking to defeat the San Diego State University Aztecs in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2001. This was the 51st meeting between the two rivals, but for now, this was the last matchup as both schools decided not to renew the contract that allows them to keep playing each other season after season.

It was Senior Night for the University of San Diego women’s soccer team as they hosted the Pepperdine University Waves (9-6-2, 5-2 West Coast Conference) at Torero Stadium. The Toreros (6-9-1, 2-5 WCC) are winless against the Waves since 2015.
