Senior Lauren Turner of the USD Volleyball team had her collegiate career upended by the aftermath of COVID, and is figuring out how to transition from athletics into her next passion.

Men’s and women’s tennis both extended their current winning streaks against West Coast Conference opponents as both teams went 3-0 in conference. The baseball team registered their first sweep of the season, and softball and golf competed on the road.

Women’s tennis dominated Ivy League teams from Columbia and Dartmouth, and men’s tennis took down no. 10 ranked Harvard as both teams extended their winning streaks. Softball came up against top teams in the Triple Crown OKC tournament, and women’s basketball competed in the Women’s National Invitational Tournament in New Mexico.

While many students rested or went on vacation during spring break, the work didn’t stop for USD athletes. Men’s and women’s tennis played in key matches against UCLA and Princeton, baseball played in their first road series against Grand Canyon University, and softball hosted the San Diego Tournament at the USD Softball complex.
