Spring is in the air, which means flowers in bloom, sunshine, and lots of exciting things to add to your weekend plans. San Diego offers more than just its warm beaches and flower fields – there are concerts, food festivals, and art displays. With spring being the season of new beginnings, try something new by skipping out on the typical beach day and exploring more of what the city has to offer.  These  events and activities will help you do so.

Hippo Campus Concert, April 10

The indie rock band will be in town to perform their top hits at The Observatory in North Park. Enjoy and sing along to their catchy tunes “Buttercup” and “Way It Goes” in the standing only venue. As of right now, The Observatory calls for proof of vaccination or a negative test result within 24-48 hours of the event. And if ubering isn’t in the picture, the ticket fee includes validation for the parking structure across the venue on 29th Street.
